My MtG Journey

MtG Timeline

It was late 1994, i was 13 years old, when my best friend introduced me to Magic: the Gathering. I was immediatly interested in the game. Slowly our group of schoolmates started playing MtG, after a while we ventured out to our local game store to find people to play and trade cards.

• Release - Set-Name
• Apr 1994 - Foreign Black Boarder
• Aug 1994 - Legends
• Okt 1994 - The Dark
• Okt 1994 - Fourth Edition
• at this time we didn't know about the nature of the game, like print runs and P9 etc.

At that time, our town had only one store, as far as I remember, but in 1995 a second one opened, giving us another place to play, trade, and buy cards.
